ANGEL HAIR
A UFO phenomenon which is occasionally reported is that of Angel Hair. Angel Hair is usually a grayish white cobweb - like material that floats down from the sky after a fly over by a slow moving UFO. The favored atmospheric conditions for this phenomenon are still, muggy, polluted air.
Angel Hair is very fragile to the touch and usually disintegrates into dust within a few hours when left undisturbed. It is formed out of the dust and chemical pollutants of the air. The formation process is a by - product of the most common form of UFO propulsion used in the atmosphere. That is to say, UFOs usually emit very intense ( approximately one billion watt ) microwave pulses of a very short duration ( approximately two millionths of a second ) several hundred times per second. These powerful pulses of microwave radiation break the air into positively and negatively charged components ( ionizes the air ) around the hull of the UFO. Once the air is ionized, strong magnetic fields, which vary in strength and direction with time, are used to pull the ionized air toward the hull. This compresses the air and moves it over the surface of the hull towards the rear, and thereby propelling the UFO forward.
The process of ionizing the air generates many chemically reactive compounds, especially when the air is polluted. As the polluted air is compressed and moved over the UFO's hull, the dust particle density is increased. The very chemically reactive compounds formed by the ionization process react with the dust particles. The dust particles develop sticky surfaces and begin to stick together, forming filaments. If the density of dust particles and chemically reactive compounds is high enough, a continuous web or matrix of Angel Hair is generated by the UFO.
( See the TECHNICAL CORNER section for more details on the microwave radiation.)
BURNS ON PLANTS AND BAKED GROUND AT UFO LANDING SITES
The common features found at reputed UFO landing sites are burned plants and baked ground. There are two reasons for the burning and baking effects, as illustrated in Figure 1. One reason is intense microwave radiation from the UFO hull. The other is induction heating from an oscillating strong magnetic field.
The most common form of UFO propulsion uses intense pulses of microwave radiation to ionize the air around the UFO. The average minimum microwave power radiation by UFOs is around one million watts. Obviously, if a UFO lands and continues to radiate microwave energy at normal power levels the plants and ground will be cooked.
Associated with the most common form of UFO propulsion mentioned above is the use of oscillating strong magnetic fields. If the ground is at all electrically conductive, an oscillating strong magnetic field will induce an electric current flow in the ground under and around the UFO. If the induced current flow is large enough, the ground will be ohmically heated even to the point of being baked.
CAR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM KNOCKED OUT
People driving cars who encounter a UFO at close range, commonly report head lights dimming, engine sputtering or quitting, and the radio acting up or quitting. The reason for these occurrences is the very strong static component of the magnetic field used in the common form of UFO propulsion. That is, besides the intense burst of microwave radiation and oscillating strong magnetic fields used by UFOs, there is also a very strong constant magnetic field employed by the propulsion system. This constant magnetic field can significantly increase the electrical resistance in the car wiring. This reduces the ability of the battery and generator to deliver electrical current to head lights, ignition system, and radio.
( See the TECHNICAL CORNER section for details.)
The spark coil's ability to produce the needed spark plug voltage depends on the ability of the primary coil winding to change the magnetization of the coil's iron core. The magnetization of the iron core of the spark coil can become saturated by the very intense constant magnetic field from a nearby UFO. Once saturated, the iron core magnetization is no longer affected by changes in the electric current flow in the primary winding. This means no appreciable spark voltage generation and the engine quits.
ACUPUNCTURE AND OXYGEN ION THERAPY
In the last ten to fifteen years the ancient Chinese art of acupuncture, which is the remnant of a more ancient medical science, has been accepted as having value by Western medicine. Despite the widespread practice of acupuncture, its practitioners do not understand the fundamental physical reasons why acupuncture works. Practitioners talk of two kinds of energy called Yin and Yang, which are in opposition to each other. They essentially claim that these energies flow through an energy distribution network made up of many meridians ( flow channels ), which are cross linked and spread throughout the body, including all organs. They further claim that the placing of needles in the acupuncture points controls and can balance these energy flows and brings the body into harmony and health. There exists an impressive body of empirical evidence pointing to the success of acupuncture treatment for thirty to sixty percent of the patients, depending on the particular affliction or ailment.
In order to understand some of the reasons of how and why acupuncture works, it is necessary to know what an acupuncture point actually is and what it does. Figure 3A shows a typical acupuncture point, which is not actually a point, but instead is a small circular region of skin approximately 1 millimeter in diameter. It is composed of many small tubes, the sides of which are flush with each other and thereby forming the circular structure of the acupuncture point. Tube walls are apparently one cell thick. These cells can only be seen with the use of special cell dye stains.
The function of the acupuncture point is to take into the body negatively charged oxygen molecules. These are oxygen molecules that have an extra electron attached. These negatively charged molecules of oxygen are used, among other things, in enzyme reactions, which require an oxygen atom to make the chemical compound adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the universal body cell fuel, without which cell life and cell function is impossible as we know it. To illustrate the essentialness of negatively charged oxygen, I quote from animal experiments of D. A. Lapitsky, "animals already near death from asphyxiation began to feel better, sat up, sniffed the air, and began to run around the chamber. Their respiration frequency increased. Switching off the ionizer again brought them to the verge of asphyxiation."
The body tissue in and around the acupuncture point attracts negatively charged oxygen molecules by charging itself to a positive electrical potential of approximately one volt. This positive potential allows the point to attract all negatively charged oxygen molecules that come within the small volume around the point shown in Figure 3B. If an acupuncture needle is placed in the point it, too, charges up to the positive one volt electrical potential ( There is another possibility, but that will be taken up in another issue. ). However, the volume of air from which the charged needle can draw negatively charged oxygen is over a hundred times larger. It can consequently provide a hundred times more charged oxygen than the normal delivery rate. As will be shown in another article in this series on acupuncture and oxygen ion therapy, the needle can sometimes be a thousand times more effective. ( To be continued next month.)
PRODUCTION OF AIDS VIRUS SERUM
Now that the antibody proteins for the AIDS are identifiable, it is possible to refine these antibody proteins out from the blood plasma of AIDS victims. A syringe can be used to "decant" off the region of a ultracentrifugate of blood plasma containing the antibody proteins. Electrophoreses on this "decant" can be used to refine and separate these antibodies out. Once a few micro moles of these antibodies has been isolated it will be possible and practical to have the different antibody protein molecules analyzed and their amino acid sequence determined. There is a automated protein analyzer machine at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California, that can do this job. Once this amino acid sequence has been determined, the Gene Machine at the California Institute of Technology can synthesize the DNA molecules that carry the amino acid sequence for each antibody protein. Then by a gene splice insertion of these DNA molecules into an appropriate microbe, the antibodies can be produced in mas by standard techniques used for mass production of antibiotics by microbes.
The AIDS virus is a lentivirus and without exception there has never been a long term successful vaccine found for any lentivirus caused disease.
If the work is started now, the current and soon to be AIDS victims will not probably survive the next couple of years until the antibodies could be produced in mass. However, there is a way for them to buy a little time, perhaps a couple or so extra years. That is, I would strongly suggest that AIDS victims and their doctors review the ignored and largely overlooked work of Fred R. Klenner, M. D.. As a start, see April 1951 issue of Southern Medicine and Surgery, "Massive Doses of Vitamin C and Virus Diseases." Also see his article in The Journal of Applied Nutrition, 1953.
For the body to effectively use vitamin C as an anti viral agent, the body apparently needs to manufacture special enzymes. These enzymes use vitamin C to react with the outer protein coat of the virus and destroy / disable the coat before it can link up with an acceptor protein site on another body cell and infect that cell. In order for the body to manufacture these enzymes, in the needed amount, an adequate supply of whole proteins, B - vitamins, vitamin A, and multi - minerals ( particularly zinc and magnesium ), must be continually supplied to the body. A successful treatment requires a continuous adequate concentration of both vitamin C and antibody enzymes in the intercellular blood plasma. For the treatment to be successful the concentration of antibody enzymes and vitamin C must remain adequate to destroy all virus protein coats for a period several times that of the longest incubation period of any cell type that is susceptible to infection.
The AIDS virus can apparently remain dormant for an unknown time in some cell types and therefore vitamin C can only at best be used as a control for the disease.

VISUALIZATION OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD
Whenever there is a charge flow ( electric current ), there is an associated magnetic field generated. The magnetic field is invisible and only manifests itself by its effects on electric current flow and magnetically effected materials. However, we are visually oriented creatures and like to visualize things in order to think about them. Fortunately the equations for the magnetic field strength associated with common current flow configurations allow for visual representation. You can "see" the magnetic field by the use of diagrams which use the concept of lines of flux. Such a diagram is shown in Figure 4, for a current flowing in a simple ring. Figure 4 shows a cross - sectional view of the flux lines for a plane cut through the middle of the current carrying ring. The significance of the lines of flux diagram is in the spacing distance between the adjacent lines. The larger the spacing, the weaker the magnetic field strength. The relative strength of the magnetic field at points a,b, and c in Figure 4 is the same as the relative distances between the flux lines shown. The direction of the field is parallel to the tangent of the flux line.
Figure 5 shows a cross - sectional view of a cylindrical ferromagnetic material such as car body steel, located in a magnetic field. The lines of flux diagram shows how a steel enclosure can shield an enclosed volume from a magnetic field. This shielding effect of thick steel plate is good until about the 15,000 to 20,000 gauss value in magnetic field strength. The usual local surface magnetic field strength of the earth is between .5 to 1.0 gauss.
UFO MICROWAVE EMISSIONS
Figure 6 shows the microwave emissions received by a United States Air Force counter electronics measures aircraft. It had an encounter with a 30 foot spherical UFO. These microwave emissions generate a cloud of ionization and excited metastable oxygen and nitrogen molecules around the UFO. Figure 7 shows this generation process. An oscillating magnetic field, in combination with a strong constant magnetic field, provides a crossed ( at angles to each other ) electric and magnetic field. This moves and compresses the cloud over and around the UFO, providing action / reaction propulsion.
RESISTANCE CHANGES DUE TO UFO MAGNETIC FIELD
Figure 8 shows a section of a current carrying wire in a car's electrical system. This wire is assumed to have an externally applied strong magnetic field from a UFO. The field is perpendicular to the length of the wire and to the plane of the page. The circular orbit of radius ( R ) of an electron in the magnetic field and traveling at the fermi velocity ( Vf ) is shown.
The momentum transport mean free path ( L ) is the path distance though which electrons travel making collisions before all initial directional net electron flow is randomized. As long as L is small in comparison to one fourth the circumference of the fermi electron orbit ( S ) , the effects of the magnetic field on electrical resistance are negligible. L = f d, where f is the number of collisions required before an electron's directional motion becomes randomized, when initially having been directionalized, such as by an electric field in the wire. d is the mean free path length between collisions for the electron. These electron collisions are for the most part with phonons.
f is given approximately* by 2(Pe / Pph )2, where Pe is the momentum of an electron with the fermi energy and Pph is the average momentum of the phonons the electrons collided with. Pe = M Vf and Pph ~ KT / 2Vph , where KT / 2 is the approximate average phonon energy and Vph is the velocity of sound in the metal wire. For copper at 3000 k , Pph = .6 x 10-24 kgm - s / sec., and Pe = 1.4 x 10-24 kgm - s / sec.. Therefore, f ~ 12 and from experiment# d = .45 x 10-7 m, which gives L ~ .5 x 10-6m.
To find the approximate magnetic field strength required to give significant electrical resistance changes, set R equal to 3L. We obtain:
B = M Vf / e( 3L ) = ( 9.11 x 10-31kgm ) ( 1.56 x 10-6m / sec. ) / ( 1.6 x 10-19coul. ) ( 1.5 x 10-6m )
B = 5.92 webers / meter squared = 59,200 gauss = 5.92 Tesla
At around 20,000 gauss the magnetization of the steel body of a car is totally saturated and can no longer offer any magnetic shielding to the wiring or the iron core of the spark coil or the iron core of the generator or alternator windings.
